Why is the partition not detected when installing the Windows 10 operating system on an NVMe PCI-E M.2 SSD connected via a card?

Please confirm whether your computer motherboard supports NVMe functionality. Some motherboard manufacturers can enable support by updating the BIOS. It is recommended to contact your motherboard manufacturer directly for confirmation.

Why does the system fail to detect partitions when installing Windows XP or Windows 7 on an M.2 SSD connected via a card?

1.Please first confirm whether your M.2 SSD is a PCI-E interface SSD, as the expansion card does not support SATA interface M.2 SSDs.

2.Please also confirm whether your PCI-E interface M.2 SSD uses the NVMe specification. Since Windows XP and Windows 7 do not include NVMe drivers, this can result in partitions not being detected. It is recommended to install the Windows 10 operating system, which has built-in NVMe drivers and can properly detect partitions.
