Why does installing an M.2 SSD via an adapter card fail to detect partitions when installing Windows XP or Windows 7 operating systems?

Please first confirm whether your M.2 SSD is a PCI-E interface SSD, as the adapter card does not support SATA interface M.2 SSDs.


Please check if your PCI-E interface M.2 SSD is of NVMe specification. Since Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems do not have NVMe drivers, the partitions will not be detected. It is recommended to install Windows 10, as it has built-in NVMe drivers and can detect partitions.

Why does the device not function when only the 6-pin power connector is connected without also connecting the 4-pin or SATA-to-4-pin power adapter?


This is because the 6-pin power connector is a supplementary power source. Please connect either the 4-pin power connector or SATA power for proper operation.

Why does my headset sound faint, with noise and distortion, when plugged into an OMTP port?

The "ground" and "microphone" pins are reversed between OMTP and CTIA standards. Therefore, using a CTIA headset with an OMTP port can result in such issues. The solution is to match the standards: use CTIA headsets with CTIA ports and OMTP headsets with OMTP ports. If you must connect a CTIA headset to an OMTP port or an OMTP headset to a CTIA port, try not fully inserting the headset plug to avoid these problems.

iPhone 4S with iOS 7.0 or above and Android devices with version 4.2.2 or above support Miracast functionality. However, some older phone models, even after updating to Android 4.2.2 or above, may still not support Miracast. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that all mobile devices will connect properly, especially generic Chinese-brand devices, which are most commonly affected. Additionally, please note that rooted or jailbroken devices are not supported, as they may cause connection issues or disconnections. It is recommended to visit a physical store to test the connection before making a purchase.

"UPMOST TECHNOLOGY CORP." (hereinafter referred to as UPMOST) has always respected and made efforts to protect users' privacy.
