This Wallplate Switcher is an HDMI and VGA switch with audio embedding and HDBaseT output, designed for enclosures of U.S. wall plate size.

This transmitter can send uncompressed high-definition video/audio over a single cable up to a maximum distance of 100 meters at 1080p @ 60Hz. The HDMI input supports resolutions up to 4K @ 60Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit), while the VGA input supports resolutions up to WUXGA (RB). By using a 3.5mm audio input, stereo audio can also be embedded with VGA or DVI signal sources. Despite HDBaseT’s bandwidth limitation of 10.2Gbps, it supports high-bandwidth 4K UHD HDMI video sources, including 4K @ 60Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit), and will automatically convert to 8-bit color or, if necessary, 4:2:0 color space.

Supports automatic input detection between HDMI and VGA with hot-plug detection for hands-free operation. The multifunction button on the front panel provides OSD and allows manual input selection. When used with a compatible receiver, additional features such as EDID management, HDCP management, and basic signal event automation (via RS-232 or CEC) are accessible.

This transmitter (PD) can be powered locally from a compatible HDBaseT receiver (PSE) or via 48V PoH, providing greater installation flexibility. It can be controlled locally via the front panel button with OSD. When paired with a compatible receiver, it can also be controlled via WebGUI, Telnet, and RS-232, making it highly versatile.

What is HDBaseT

HDBaseT brings revolutionary changes to the audiovisual market. Compared to existing solutions, HDBaseT offers richer features, longer transmission distances, and better performance. At its core, HDBaseT uses a single 100-meter/328-foot standard network cable to transmit uncompressed ultra-high-definition audio and video, Ethernet, control signals, USB 2.0, and up to 100W of power, known as 5Play™ technology.

FAC RESET Button: Press and hold for 5 seconds to reset the device to factory default settings.
SERV.: This port is for firmware updates only.
L/R IN: Connects to the stereo analog output of a device, such as an audio player or PC, for embedding into the HDBaseT output.
INFO Button: Short press to toggle between available inputs. Press and hold for 2 seconds to activate the information OSD.
VGA IN: Connects to a VGA source device, such as a PC or laptop.
HDCP LED: Indicates the HDCP mode of the current input. Green indicates follow display mode, orange indicates follow source mode, and off indicates HDCP is disabled.
SRC LED: Indicates the currently selected source. Green indicates HDMI input, orange indicates VGA input.
PWR LED: Indicates device power and circuit status. Orange means the device is powered on and receiving power, green means the device is on, receiving power, and successfully operating.
HDMI IN: Connects to an HDMI source device, such as a media player, game console, or set-top box.

CAT5e / 6/7 OUT: Used to transmit all data signals.

DC 12V: Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the dual terminal and plug it into an AC power outlet for power supply.

1. Purpose of Data Collection
