What is video capture?
Video capture refers to the process of recording both video and audio completely and saving them as digital format files. Video capture devices can be classified into software compression (soft compression) and hardware compression (hard compression). The difference is that soft compression products process 100% of the data through the computer's CPU, while hard compression products use built-in core chips to process data, significantly reducing CPU usage and providing better capture performance. Desktop computers can use software compression capture cards, laptops can use USB-interface software compression capture devices, and for standalone operations without a computer, hardware compression standalone video recording products can be chosen.
